Waynesburg University has selected Ella Whysong, daughter of Dan and Stacey Whysong, as a 2025 Leadership Award recipient.
Whysong is a senior at Chestnut Ridge High School, serving as president of the National Honor Society and vice president of the senior class. She is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America and runs on the cross-country and track and field teams.
Outside of school, Whysong enjoys being a member of her church’s youth group and helping with local service activities.
In the fall, Whysong will study international business and continue her running career at Waynesburg University.
