GBU Life recently became a corporate partner of Waynesburg University’s Veteran and Military Affiliated Center.
As one of our four pillars of community support, caring for our veterans and local heroes is important to our GBU members.
Established through the Center’s Partner Program, this partnership will support Waynesburg University’s initiatives to serve veteran and military students as well as the veteran and military populations in the region through community collaboration and service opportunities.
“As one of our four pillars of community support, caring for our veterans and local heroes is important to our GBU members. We appreciate this opportunity to support Waynesburg University in its mission to serve veterans and military students in our community,” said Jennifer Stockdale, Director of Communications and Community Engagement for GBU Life.
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, GBU Life is a member-owned, fraternal benefit society founded to help members secure their futures, build their legacies and impact their community. GBU members share the goals of financial protection and giving back to people and causes that matter most to them.
“We are so very grateful for the support of GBU,” said Dr. Michelle Steimer, Director of Veteran and Military Student Services and Initiatives. “Their generous donation will directly support our efforts to expand services to not only our veteran and military-affiliated students, but also to veterans in our surrounding communities through our service and community outreach. Through my work with the Center, I get the privilege of seeing our impact in the community each day. I am looking forward to continued partnership with both GBU and their members.”
