Getting the most out of online learning

  1. How Online and Hybrid Classes Work

    Synchronous: In synchronous classes, students to engage with class materials at the same time as their peers. Learning occurs in a face to face setting such as a classroom or on the internet through video meetings. 

    Asynchronous: Asynchronous classes offer learners the flexibility of engaging course materials at a time of their choosing and while meeting scheduled due dates. Students can connect with their peers and instructors on their own schedules.

  2. Self check – Am I ready for online classes? 

    Most online classes are interactive and require participation. Substantial time commitment will be required.
